Skopje, Prime Minister Edi Rama opening remarks in the Heads of NATO member countries from Southeastern Europe meeting

Prime Minister Edi Rama today attended the meeting of the Heads of State and Governments of the five NATO member countries from Southeastern Europe in Skopje, North Macedonia, with the participation of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. At the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Rama greeted everyone:

“Good afternoon! First of all, I would like to wish all Albanians here in North Macedonia a blessed Alphabet Day in the Albanian language. On the other hand, I’m very happy that we are gathered here today in this difficult moment for everyone, a moment of wars and serious crises that have the potential to directly endanger our side, a moment when everyone here in the region must focus on protecting and preserving what we have achieved, which is not a little, a fragile general peace, but a peace nonetheless, and make all our efforts to make this peace final and lasting”.
